Dearest Catherine,

We are at war. We have a scant amount of food left and my little toes have had to be amputated due to frostbite. The opposing forces are closing in and I fear I will not see the morning. Oh and we're fighting apes. It's a weird war. The war is kind of allegorical and so is this letter. Give my best to the children if they can still understand the human language. Best, Third Infantry Man from the left.

There's a lot going on in this movie for Jay and AJ to unpack! They discuss the previous movies, how this one stacks up in the trilogy and where the franchise could go from here! Also, they talk performances within and without motion capture. So settle in to your snowy, mountainside fortress for this episode on The War for the Planet of the Apes!

When you’re young, a new job can be intimidating. You boss might be a bit overbearing, your coworkers may get frustrated with you and don’t get me started on the super villains. Oh, wait...did you not have super villains at your first job? How about dudes with taser gloves? Robbers with alien tech? Yeah, working at Hot Topic can be rough.

Peter Parker, on the other hand has the coolest after school job ever as Spider-Man in Tom Holland’s first solo outing in the MCU! Jay and AJ take you back over the years of Spider-Man movies we’ve already seen, how well this iteration of Mr. Parker fits into Marvel’s ever-expanding universe and how cool Michael Keaton is as the bad guy! Spin yourself a web-hammock and settle in for the Sesh’s take on Spider-Man: Homecoming!

How do you put together the perfect mix tape? The perfect playlist? The tracks that match like puzzle pieces to the emotion or vibe you're yearning for. You've gotta know what gets you going, gets you pumped. Keep your ears open for songs that light your soul on fire when you hear the first notes. And make sure there's a few tracks with heart pounding beats to bump while you're driving a getaway car!

You can always throw a podcast episode into your playlist. Don't worry. It'll totally flow.

Like this episode! Jay and AJ discuss Edgar Wright and his impressive body of work. They also talk about the all-star cast, try not to mispronounce Ansel Elgort's name and heap praise on whoever the stunt drivers were in this movie. Seriously, go see it if only for the chase scenes! So point your car in an all new direction and drown out everything else in your life with this episode of Cinema Sesh all about Baby Driver.
