If you've ever found something antique in your attic, you know that you have to handle it with care. It's part of your history and it's has sentimental value, if not monetary value. So to make a movie based on a classic, beloved franchise requires a deft and caring hand. Did Ron Howard preserve this galactic Ming vase (pronounced the pretentious way, with a long A) or did he fumble-finger it onto the hardwood floor of history?

In this fun and spoiler-filled episode, Jay and AJ jump into the pilot seats of the Millennium Falcon! They discuss the new lore of the Star Wars spin-off, the logic of the Kessel Run and how this new Han Solo (played by Alden Ehrenreich) measures up! Still Shorter than Chewbacca, of course! So strap in, turn off your 3-D chess boards and stow your blasters while we blast off into our Solo: A Star Wars Story Sesh!

There comes a time in everyone's life where you have to decide what's right and what you're willing to do for the good of the world. Where you have to decided if sacrificing everyone and everything you love is worth the reward. And that is why we are releasing this podcast so late. We also had to save the universe from some purple dude with bling...You're welcome.

The whole* Avengers crew is here: Iron Man, Cap, Black Panther...haha you thought we were going to list them all. We don't have enough characters! Unlike this movie! Jay and AJ talk about the seemingly impossible task the Russo brothers were given in directing this behemoth of a movie, which characters' arc we enjoyed the most and who, in fact, is the protagonist of the movie. Collect those infinity stones (watch all the previous movies**) before you settle in for this sesh on Avengers: Infinity War!

*Not all the Avengers are in this movie.

**You don't actually have to watch all the movies

Shhhh. They're all around us. They can hear the faintest sound. They'll hunt us until they find us and then...the unthinkable. We need to stay silent. We need to keep each other safe and survive. Better listen to this episode with headphones...

On this episode of Cinema Sesh, Jay and AJ tiptoe through the horror film John Krazinski directed, wrote and stars in with Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe. They discuss (quietly) what it would be like to exist in this meticulously built world, the use of silence vs. score and the importance of high stakes in a suspense thriller. So ease carefully into your couch and forget the popcorn (the crunch is too loud) and enjoy A Quiet Place Sesh.

Dealing with one's family is rough. Dealing with losing family is even rougher. Especially if your long-lost cousin tries to infiltrate your hidden, technologically-advanced African Kingdom and usurp superpower from you that you receive from an ancient flower. It's a tale as old as time.

Jay and AJ are out of the theater and into the studio, talking about the most recent MCU marvel: Black Panther. They discuss the prevalence of CGI world-building in modern movies, the common thread of marvel plots and what makes a good bad guy! So drop in to the secret world of Wakanda with them and enjoy the Black Panther Sesh!

Technology is a funny thing: It's just an advanced tool. It's not evil, it's not good; It's what the intention of the being in possession of it that matters. And if, say, an evil monster race of aliens had control of a podcast about movies they could use it to brainwash the listeners...but we wouldn't do that...

AJ and Jay (We promise it's really them) jump back into the rift with the Jaegers and maybe some Kaiju? The Sesh boys talk about John Boyega's ability to helm a franchise, the insane names of the Jaegers and the importance of delivery of monsters in a monster movie. Give us a Neural handshake and you will know all of our secrets and we will know all of yours...in this Pacific Rim: Uprising Sesh!

Getting together with friends is super special! Good conversation, good food, good fun! But sometimes you want something more, right? You want to get your mind racing and your blood pumping! Well look no further! Just pretend to get kidnapped! But make sure no one *actually* wants you dead. That might make for an awkward situation!

This Jason Bateman/Rachel McAdams-led ensemble throws multiple curveballs into the mix of what could have been just a mediocre comedy. The Sesh boys discuss the dynamics between the pairs of actors, the use of certain unique visual language and the depths of how off-putting Jesse Plemons' character can be. Get a nice charcuterie plate and join Jay and AJ for a Game Night Sesh!

A solid cast, a tight script and a visual style that is unique without being distracting,

When facing extinction, one must remember to not panic. If one stays calm one can rationalize through the many options available to oneself. If one panics, one will try to kidnap and enslave a bunch of kids for their brain goo to let you live a few more weeks at a time. And that's just mean. Don't Panic.

Rounding out the Maze Runner trilogy, the Sesh Boys tackle the most action packed and the most tragic of the movies. Here are some of the riveting highlights: Talking about the logistics of building the Mazes and other massive construction projects in the apocalypse, Which Glader you would want as your backup in battle (Spoiler: It's Minho. He's badass), and How busy were the gods in this movie with all of them Deus Ex Machinas? Sit down and get comfy for the end of the world (Or not?), pour that blue goo on your popcorn and join Jay and AJ on The Death Cure Sesh!

The sand whips against your face... The sun beats down on your skin... The zombies pursue you endlessly... Why, oh why, did we decided to spend our vacation in Arizona? The apocalypse is bad enough, and we chose to go to Phoenix?

The effects of the Scorch are taking their toll on the Cinema Sesh fellows! They discuss the second Wes Ball Maze Runner film: the pros and cons of the added cast, how the action set pieces are impressive, in spite of the budget, and the logistics of the forces of WCKD! Dust off that sandy popcorn and chow down cause that's the last food you're gonna get in The Scorch Trials!

The name Thomas comes from the Aramaic name Ta'oma', meaning twin. When Thomas is introduced to the Maze, he himself is an emotional and psychological maze...and in this labyrinth, he finds his twin! How about that for shoehorning in a metaphor?! Doesn't it feel good to be learning new things?

In this dizzying episode, the Sesh begins to tackle The Maze Runner trilogy, starting with it's first chapter, obviously! Jay and AJ discuss the quality of young actors in the film's cast, the logistics of the maze itself and whether the story is a satisfying, self-contained movie on its own. So settle in to your hammock, get your popcorn and fire juice and enjoy our Maze Runner Sesh!

We spend a third of our life sleeping. We spend a year and a half of our life on the toilet. And we spend what feels like 110% of our life in transit. The least you could ask from your chosen mode of transportation wouldn't have some sinister conspiracy woven into it. But when that craziness comes at ya, follow our mantra: Be Like Liam.

The Cinema Sesh boys sit down (but only if there's no pregnant or disabled folks waiting for a seat) to discuss Jaume Collet-Serra's latest Liam Neeson-centric thriller. Jay and AJ talk about how to pronounce said director's name, the physics of jumping between train cars and fake news in movies! So settle in with your ear buds, your bottle of whatever is in that paper bag and your sense of paranoia for this Sesh of The Commuter!

Twas two weeks before Xmas and all through the theater, all the nerds with Vader shirts were excited to be-a there. We held our breath as the title cards rolled and cheered when the John Williams timpani tolled. And just as the space was filled with star cruisers, we hoped that as viewers we wouldn't be losers. But what to our wondering eyes should appear, but Poe Dameron and BB8 in the rear.

We could go on and on but you'll hear more about what Jay and AJ thought about the new Star Wars movie in this podcast (just not in a poem). They discuss the complexity of ticking clocks in place of tension, how the script served and failed each of the characters and, of course, Porgs. Pour some milk, which ever color you wish, set out some space cookies, and hang out for the The Last Jedi Sesh!
