Finally! After what felt like a whole year, we finally have another Star Wars movie!
Rogue One is truly the prequel the Star Wars franchise needed. Spoilers: We do discuss Episode 1-3 but as little as we possibly can.
But for real: SPOILERS ABOUND! We introduce you to all of the characters in this new, yet familiar, world including Cassian Andor (Greatest Star Wars Name), Jyn Erso, K-2SO, Chirrut Îmwe, Baze Malbus and Bodhi Rook. We find out who is still around from the Clone Wars and which characters may be sticking around for the upcoming movies. You'll thrill at all the drama! All the action! All the droids!
There's so much great stuff in this movie, we almost couldn't stop talking about it! Don't worry though. We eventually do stop.

We chose to do this podcast completely in English instead of the Heptapod language. Not that we're trying to exclude any Heptapod from listening to this podcast, it's just that our listeners are typically from Earth and they don't understand that alien language. We totally could have done it in an alien language...we just didn't want to show off.

Five years after Harry left Hogwarts, we apparate back into the Wizarding World, this time following Newt Scamander and some other fresh faces around 1920s New York.
We talk about the mythology of the book from which this movie draws its name, the future of the 5 parts Beasts series and the possibility that Dumbledore's Army was simply hidden up his sleevey. We attempt to match wizard wits, with Jay roundly trouncing AJ in his knowledge of the Harry Potter mythos and his ability to pronounce the charms and spells. AJ is bad at that.
So settle in with a warm butter beer and wrap your cloak of invisibility tightly around you (neither of which make an appearance in this movie, we are sad to say) and enjoy listening to two NoMajs (or muggles, if you prefer) talk about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them!

In our first episode back from our hiatus, we jump into the Mirror Dimension with Benny Cumberbatch and his magical mystery cloak. There's Kaecilius and Mordo and Wong, Oh My! There are more characters than that but that's what you get when we write these descriptions drunk! The moment we've all been waiting for has come: Captain America: Civil War! Brother vs Brother! North vs South! Abolitionists vs...wait. Wrong civil war.
Captain America and Iron Man go head to head in this behemoth of a movie, dragging the rest of the Avengers into the fray. Many of the old faces you know and love are back, including Falcon, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, War Machine, Vision, Winter Soldier, Ant-Man and Hawkeye. If you thought they couldn't pack in more superheros, you're wrong! Spider-Man and Black Panther join in the fun!
For all you fans out there, this is a great episode. We get into the past, present and future of the Captain America and how it all ties into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Trust me, this'll be a good listen. Enjoy!
